IJCC Spring Golf Challenge

Welcome to the Irish business community's spring golf tournament. A great day of golf, networking and friendly competition!


Date: April 25th, 2015 (Saturday), Meeting Time at the clubhouse: 9:30am (tee-off from 10.06am).
Venue: Tsutsujigaoka Country Club – Tochigi Prefecture
Registration Close Date: April 17th, 2015

*Please note the field is limited to 40 players so early registration is advised.


Members: ¥21,000  |  Non-members:¥23,000

-Corporate Members can invite up to 4 people at the Member’s price

-Professional Members can invite up to 2 people at the Member’s price

Directions: Take the Tohoku expressway to Iwafune, there change to the Kita Kanto expressway and get off at the Ota-Kiryu interchange. The course is located 5km from the Interchange. A detailed map of the local area will be issued the week before the event. From central Tokyo the journey takes 1.5 hours during normal traffic conditions.

From Kita -senju Station, take the Tobu line, express ‘Ryomo no. 3’ train leaving at 7:52am and arriving at Ashikagashi station at 8:52. The club bus will be waiting at the ticket gate.
Please note: You must let the club know in advance if you will be coming by train.


A return bus can be arranged if enough people require it. Please indicate below if you would like to come by bus.

* The bus is subject to a minimum of 20 players committing. Charge will be 2,000 yen per player.


Special Accommodation Offer:

Our sponsor, Toyoko Inn, has kindly offered free accommodation at the Toyoko Inn near Ashikaga station(JR line) and Ashikagashi station (Tobu Line) (10 minutes by car from golf course) on the night of Friday, April 25th, for all players. Sign up is required by April 18th.

A bus will take golfers from the hotel to the golf course on April 25thmorning, and back to Ashikagashi station after the tournament reception party.


Tee times and play format:

The field will be limited to 40 players, 5 groups starting on the out-course and 5 groups starting on the in-course.

Tee times: from 10:06 am onwards

Format: We will use the Double Peoria System as a basis for obtaining handicap and net score for each player.

PLEASE NOTE: A detailed breakdown of the event including groupings, local rules and competition infomation will be emailed to each participant on Monday, April 20th.
